Rezumat: Karl Barth and Søren Kierkegaard, or the Flavour of the ’Pinch of Cinnamon’ in the Hands of God. Kierkegaard has a significant role in the forming of Barth’s dialectical theological thinking. But the two genius thinkers were born at different times, so the needs were also different, and by this we can explain the fact, that the older Barth withdrew from the Danish thinker. The accusation of individualism, existencialism and pietistic subjectivism only partly have to do with Kierkegaard, Barth’s critique refers them as if they monopolized his thoughts for realising their own ideas. Regarding to the relationship between law and love, there is rather a rethorical accent-difference between the two theologians, but their fundamental intention is similar, because both of them turn the attention of their readers to a God of grace. Barth borrows from Kierkegaard the thought, that the theologian should never lay claim to possession of the whole truth, his life-work can be only a correction, ’correctivity’, the ’pinch of cinnamon’ in hands of God. With their oeuvre they spiced and coloured the world, and within it its theological life. Keywords: Kierkegaard; Barth’s Kierkegaard-critique; individualism; existencialism; pietistical subjectivism; law and love; agape and eros. |
